Many of the foods out on the market claim to be premium pet food.But when you look at the ingredients, you will see that the food resembles more of a diet for farm animals than a food you'd like your dog or cat to eat.These are the products that Patsy's will not carry, regardless of the profit we could make on them. We chose to offer only quality items!
If you don't see something in our store that you'd like us to offer, please let us know.Ask our courteous, knowledgeable staff and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and, whenever possible, to educate those that are looking to improve the diet of their best friend--their pets!

No one taught us that more than Patsy!She was living proof that a healthy diet and proper nutrition has tremendous benefits for your pet for years to come.Better health, less vet visits.Better coat and skin, less shedding. Feeling better from the inside out could mean less behavior problems too!All of which can lead to fewer animals being turned into animal shelters because of bad health or behavior problems!
Whenever possible our products are natural, holistic and grain-free. We are proud to support several local companies such as Fat Murray's all natural, wheat, corn and soy free scrumptious cookies for your dog! And Trappers Way, frozen natural raw diet for your dog.
We also carry a wide variety of Domestic, Exotic and Wild Bird seed, Wildlife and Deer food, salt and mineral blocks, whole and cracked corn,small animal food, healthy treats, cookies, biscuits, natural bones and chew products, toys, beds, leashes/collars, litter and supplies.

SO, who's Patsy?
In 1993 a young female calico cat came wandering into the warehouse in Totowa, NJ.She was sickly, very thin and losing her fur.Apparently she lived somewhere in the area, but the owner no longer wanted her.A local animal rescue group was called to help her.She received medical attention and we were happy to hear it was not too serious.She was horribly anemic, which was causing hair loss, and an upper respiratory infection.Since the rescue group did not have a shelter, they asked if Patsy could stay in the office until a suitable foster or permanent home could be found.The staff was more than happy to help. Proper nutrition, lots of love, and a healthy diet soon put Patsy back on her feet to purr-fect health. And it wasn’t long before she took over the warehouse!She would sit up on the counter by the cash register with her ‘show me the money’ eyes, help out with inventory, chasing your feet as you walked the aisles, and even learned the computer! She loved to see all the people and their dogs come through the door!Patsy lived at the store for more than 12 years.
In 2005 Patsy became ill with age related challenges and as we all gathered around her in the office she gently and quietly made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge.We were all devastated by her loss, and even more so the customers that came in just to see her.In her memory, honor and spirit, we established Patsy’s Pet Stop.

Our store 'watch-cat', Midnight
OUR CURRENT FELINE STORE MASCOT...MIDNIGHT!
Midnight was here when we moved in, left behind by the previous owners along with 4 other store/warehouse cats. We've been told that Midnight is an 'oriental bombay' with her sleek, short black hair, very yellow eyes, short legs and tail. She is sweet and is always looking for attention from our customers. Stop by and visit with Midnight. She'll make you smile! WARNING--do not try to pick her up! While she absolutely loves attention and to be petted she is afraid of heights.
On March 17, 2013, Midnight will be celebrated her 14th birthday. We wish her many more!!
